PROJECT LED BY BROOKS WALKER AND SETH ARMSTRONG
To be so refreshed by God's Spirit that the overflow of our hearts will enable the refreshing of this place where He has called us to worship.
To utilize the resources God has entrusted to this body to invest toward the stewardship, maintenance, and enhancement of the facilities and systems of Grace Church of DuPage, and similar needs among our missionary family.
Buildings & Grounds
Tuck-point and Masonry Repairs
Parking Lot Resurface
New Carpet in Sanctuary
10% of all funds raised will be designated to meet similar needs in the areas of global outreach and church planting. Specifics of this have yet to be determined. Seek the Lord with us as we keep our eyes open and ask for him to lead us in how to best use these funds for gospel opportunities that build his kingdom and exalt his name.
Hearing Impaired System
General Fund Reserve
10% of all funds raised will be designated to build a General Fund Reserve. The Elders and Deacons would be happy to explain the details of this further. In summary, our expenses throughout the year are fairly consistent and our givings are not. At the beginning of the year, givings tend to be lighter than at the end of the year. Having a general fund reserve would allow us to float these expenses at the beginning of the year without having to go into debt, knowing that these funds would be replenished by the end of the year as the givings and the expenses are reconciled.
What is my part?
The primary goal of this project is for the whole body of Grace Church of DuPage to come together to seek the Lord such that he would equip us to fulfill his calling and purpose on our lives. In seeking the Lord, our Elders and Deacons agree that the Lord is leading us to meet these needs in the place to which he has called us to worship. That calling includes the proper stewardship of the resources he has given us to exalt his name, equip his people, and extend his kingdom by proclaiming and living out the gospel in DuPage County and around the world.
If you are a member or regular attender at Grace Church of DuPage, you are an integral part of this body, and of this project. We invite you to join us in this work to which God is calling us, expectantly through prayer, that he will unite our hearts to accomplish the work of refreshing the place he has called us to worship and minister in his name.
Entrust yourself and our church family to God; asking, seeking, and knocking for Him to develop us into a community of worshipers that bears much fruit as we live and proclaim the Gospel with authenticity and passion.
Commit to join in God's mission to use us for his glory and purposes here in DuPage county and around the world.
Before we attempt to give sacrificially to God's work we should seek to make sure we are walking with Him in the most basic expressions of Christian discipleship. Therefore, as we seek His leading of the amount we should entrust Him to provide through us, we should ask ourselves the following questions:
Am I obeying God's Word faithfully?
Am I serving in God's church selflessly?
Am I fellowshipping with God's people diligently?
Am I sharing God's truth consistently and joyfully?
Am I giving to God's work regularly, proportionately, and cheerfully?
Give sacrificially of your God-given gifts, time, and talent toward this project. Complete the pledge card, contact a team leader to ask how you can assist them, and give directly online below.
