“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

The passages discussed in our children’s classes this week illustrate the power of the Word of God.  Jesus changed Paul from an enemy to a friend.  The Israelites gave up their grumbling and complaining, and God outlined the importance of obedience.  The same Word that made these amazing changes is available to us today!  Are we utilizing its power by reading and studying it, and putting it into practice?  This is a powerful practice that can be taught, and caught by kids of nearly any age.  Praying for sweet times in the Word with your family this week!
