Peace

Parent’s Corner- May 12, 2019

“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.  And be thankful.”  Colossians 3:15 ESV

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”  I thought this was especially poignant on Mother’s Day.  The women I have admired most have been those who have been able to be calm in the midst of the most stressful situations.  Can we do this on our own?  No Way! Especially in May, which, in my opinion, rivals December for the number of activities and schedule commitments!  Only through Christ can we find true peace in our hearts. What a wonderful truth to model to our children, and to claim for ourselves.

May you find joy and peace in your parenting this week!
