Parent’s Corner- March 27, 2022
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Starting this week, our Sunday school classes and Children’s Church group will be taking a break from the scheduled curriculum to focus on the events of the Easter story. This is a great opportunity to spread out the events of Holy Week and spend some time focusing on each element individually. Now is also a great time to spend some time to make sure your kids understand that these acts of love, obedience, and sacrifice carried out by Jesus were done for them! Jesus loves them, and desires that they would know and love him too!

Scripture- Luke 15:3-7
Lesson Truth- Jesus loves and cares for each one of his children.
Aims for the Children- to do at least one of the following during this lesson:
Express appreciation for what the shepherd in the Bible story did
Affirm that Jesus loves and cares for all his children
Thank Jesus for his love and care

Principle: People deny or betray Jesus with sinful attitudes and actions.
Ask Your Child: How did Judas betray Jesus?
Apply: By thanking Jesus for being faithful even when people reject Him.
