New Here?

Welcome, we hope you can join us!

We've all been newcomers at one time or another; we didn't know many people or all of the words to the songs either.  Our hope is to help you feel loved and welcomed at Grace Church of DuPage.  While our Sunday morning corporate worship at 10:30 is the central experience of our life together, it's our joy to invite you to also plug-in and connect with our community in some of the following ways.

Why We Gather

Our church isn’t the building we meet in or just another event that we attend. Our church is made up of people— people who need Jesus every day. We gather each Sunday to meet with God, to hear from His Word and to respond to what He has to say to us as a community. In this way we are reminded that we are His and are refreshed in Him and His mission to save us and this world.

We believe that, because of our sin, we are separated from God and the good life that He intends for us. We all fall short of His glory, but by His grace, we put our hope and trust in Jesus. He is saving us and bringing us into a new life of relationship with Himself full of hope and joy. That is what our gathering is all about, and we would love for you to join us regularly to enter into this hope we have in Jesus!

The Greeters at the doors, those at the Welcome Center in the Lobby, and any of our Pastoral Staff or Elders would be happy to chat with you and get to know you better.  They can also help provide answers about who we are, what we do, and how you can be a part of God’s work among us and through us at Grace Church of DuPage. Feel free to approach any one of them on a Sunday or contact the church office during the week.

How We Gather

Our service is designed to be a God-glorifying, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered, and cross-focused celebration of the gospel of our crucified, risen, and returning Lord Jesus Christ. The music style is a blend of old hymns and new songs that facilitates our aim as just described, preparing our hearts for the ministry of the Word through systematic exposition of whole books of the Bible, interspersed with occasional topical expositions. We give the bulk of our time on Sunday mornings to this ministry of expository preaching.

We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of each month in our AM services, and also in the evening at our Third Sunday Family Dinner and Devotional.  We also celebrate believer’s Baptism occasionally as well both on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings.

Join us in further opportunities...

We would love to have you join us in further opportunities to reinforce the formation we receive in our Sunday morning corporate worship.  These are great ways to connect with one another in meaningful ways and to seek the Lord in these additional gatherings for times of instruction, prayer, fellowship, mission, and outreach.
