Last Year’s Stories for the New Year

The Global Outreach Team at Grace Church believes that our church body is on mission with our Global Partners around the world. The most impactful way we can support them throughout the year is by regularly praying for them. The purpose of these blog posts is to provide current updates and prayer requests to aid you in your intercession for their work overseas. As the new year approaches, we rejoice with them in the work the Lord has done through their ministries and through His Church. Having grown up a JV kid herself, she is uniquely equipped by the Lord to minister to these kids while they serve on mission with their families.

This Sunday we rejoiced as a body in sending off Heidi Ansiel to her new home in Slovenia with Josiah Venture. Heidi Ansiel has served on a number of short term JV mission trips over the years. She recently sensed the call from the Lord to make this a more permanent commitment. Our Grace Church family confirmed Heidi’s calling with joy.

"My First 100 Songs" Concert in Israel

What the Kashtans have called their biggest project yet, has wrapped up with an incredible celebration this week. Last year they endeavored to produce a children’s CD entitled “My First 100 Songs”. It has been a long period of song writing, studio recording, creating artistic images for each song, and preparing for the concert.

It is difficult to believe that four years have passed since Karis arrived in Slovenia. The date was May 5, 2015, when she began her work as a missionary with Josiah Venture in the city of Maribor. However, the Lord had begun his work on her heart years before.
