Slovenia Trip Canceled

As hard as it is to believe, Sunday April 19th was supposed to be our Slovenia Silent Auction. In the past, this event has always been fun, festive, and a testimony to God’s faithfulness as we see our Grace Church family generously provide for our yearly Global Outreach trip. There will be no fundraiser this year though, for, in His sovereignty, the Lord has led the Josiah Venture organization to cancel all North American teams for the summer of 2020.

Praise Born Through Trial

It was two years ago that our church received a concerning email from Eitan and Orit Kashtan, our missionaries in Israel. There had been a fire in their home started by some bad electrical wiring. Much of their home had to be rebuilt and the Kashtans spent several months renting an apartment in Tel Aviv. Yet, I remember their initial email telling us about the fire. After giving the practical details of what had happened and what needed to be done, they ended with thanksgiving.

Pray for the Kellys

Tim and Linda were sent out from Grace Church of DuPage in 1997. They planted the Freie Evangelische Bibelgemeinde church in Meine, Germany. The church, enabled by the Lord, completed and registered their current building of worship in 2011. God has now established a plurality of elders and a core group of mature Christian families.
